The Lunar Giving Circle seeks to leverage community resources to affect positive social change in the San Francisco Bay Area’s Asian American and Pacific Islander (API) community. We envision a day when the Bay Area’s API community fully participates to create a richer, more inclusive and representative society.
We are a non-profit social fund, affiliated with AAPIP’s San Francisco Bay Area chapter, which invests in the well-being of the Bay Area’s Asian American and Pacific Islander (API) community. Our giving circle is made up of individuals with diverse interests, expertise, cultural and professional backgrounds. We are committed to pooling our strengths and resources to learn, share and make a positive impact in our communities.
Our model is based upon the concept of giving circles, in which a group of people come together to learn about issues in their communities, and leverage their expertise and resources to address these issues.
